Hi

Two situations:

1) I create the following:

Did you gain any orders at the event? YES[] NO [] if yes approximate value [..........]

2) I create a satistied / dissatisfied matrix regarding an event, I want to attach a "comments on how can we improve the event" free box after the matrix

So the question is how do I create a free text box after the yes/no question and matrix or does it have to be an entirely new question? I know that on the first option I could extract from a matrix question but we're not running the $249 per month version and just to tidy these up doesn't warrant the upgrade.

thanks

I believe you can add a "other" question and change the name from "other" to "how can we improve the event". I think this should work. if not you can create another comments question and remove the seperator so it looks like one question

I tried that but the other box has a radio button next to it.

When I create a seperate comments question the gap's quite big between the matrix and the comments box (even with the seperator removed). Is there a way of reducing this space?

Try using a "presentation text" question for the "how can we improve the event" and put a open comment box below (remove seperator between the two). I have a similar question on a survey and it looks ok
